Fractals are objects in which the same patterns occur again and again at different scales and sizes. And sometimes, just sometimes, they manifest as cruciferous vegetables!

Broccoli Romanesco is an edible fractal: its spiraling cones follow Fibonacci numbers, and each bump is made of smaller bumps that mimic the same shape, creating a self-similar pattern. Cool and maybe just a little disturbing to human minds.
